I gather the shield will be mostly useless, but it wouldnt do much use against Zorak's MS anyway.
But, with such a large explosion, you get a huge amount of debri flying about when something like the Apusalus's main cannon is fired.
An example, is the chlora-plast (sp?) explosion of a Volcano. It basically explodes at the base on one side, now, that explosion can wipe out entire towns and cities no problem if they were next to it, but if they where a good distance away, like Sanders was from the mountins, debri and heat would be still felt, not to mention the shockwave carrying large chunks.
I compare the Apsulus III's main cannon to a Chlora-Plast Volcano Explosion.

At least you're saying that the shield is now useless. Fact remains, however, that an explosion from up close and personal compared to a blast from far away is VERY different from each other. Heck, an Apsarus III blowing up a mountain is not the same as a volcanic eruption. You seem to be taking two other things for granted, which happens to be distance, and the flames themselves. A shockwave from a distance complete with debris is very different from taking flames and debris on front of your face. Either way you slice it, you lost your shield, and your MS shouldn't be as quick to react due to taking in both the heat and debris.

From all of us here at the MSPB, to you, Steel. LOLLOLOLOLOLOOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. *stabs Ai through the heart* Ok Ellis, but, still, all this confusion happened due to the distance of Zorak was. Since I thought he was near dueling range, and he thought he was a good distance away, which would make the shield attack not as effective. But Ill be ok with this one, and this one only, since, I just got this feeling of being ganged up on lol. So, were was I...oh yea. I need to re-do my move since the last one I did, would now be obsolete. ..... WAIT!If I was close enough to take damage from the explosion so should Zorak be, since the shield would be hit if we where at a greater range and the explosion wouldnt hit me but Zorak instead. So if we are near dueling range, Zorak should be engulfed aswell. If we are at long-range which wouldnt really be possible, Zorak would be engulfed still, but I wouldnt, due to me hitting his shield as he hurls it at me.

Yes, Ellis, I am not blind. I gather that part, but, wouldnt Zorak recieve some damage aswell? Van, the ruling has been made, just go with it. Don't give them grounds to go flying off the handle and start dealing out punishments upon you... Ellis's decision highlights damage to you and to you alone, if it does not mention Zorak, then he has recieved no damage. Play resumes.

No Van, its just that you are being too Wing. The reason mod rulings are often against you is because your the one making the mistakes.
