The bio-sensor system was keeping Raz well informed, and as Steel sent the chunk of debris at him, the Zeta spun around cutting straight through the debris with the saber. With the clean strike slowing the metal down, the Zeta thrusted backward, then upward above the debris, and Raz fired the beam rifle downward at Steel.

Zorak sits in a Zaku III shortly away, watching.
Steel is dead meat.

Raz uses the bio-sensor system to increase the output on his beam saber, and thrusts forward the system increases the suits speed.
As he closes in on Steel, he hacks through the piece of debris he was hiding behind, and fires his vulcans at close range at the mono-eye on Asshimar.

So, as Raz sticks his Saber into the Debris, he will have a Beam passing through the Debris and through his MS....*

To bad, Steel's aim is off, the beam barely scratches the shoulder.
Raz thrusts upward to Steel, the Zeta's superior speed really coming into play now, with the enhancements provided by the Bio-sensor system.
The Zeta makes a downward slash at Asshimar's right shoulder with the enhanced beam saber.

At this point I feel I must note that both suits are burning up along with the colony. That means shot joints and defective thrusters for both suits. The combination of both the re-entry heat and that generated by a beam rifle would surely melt the barrel of such a beam rifle (even if fired once). Hence I must void that shot, as well as any future beam rifle shots made by either combatant.

But wouldn't that then mean the Beam Saber's are in-operable too? Since they work of similair systems and physics.

That is true, however, you've been under this heat longer than Raz has.

how have I been under this heat longer?
I went to the opposite end of the colony..meaning, I am no-where near the end pointing to the earth.

Steel, you got to the colony first, therefore you've been under the heat longer.

Steel, you got to the colony first, therefore you've been under the heat longer. Time probably yes, but the degree of heat no. As when Raz was closer to the front end of the colony, he would be exposed to more heat. You also need to remember, the debris which I have been using could/would at as a shield against the heat partly too. EDIT: Oh, also, due to Raz using his Bio system. He has pushed his Suit harder and put it under more strain, which in turn, such as boosting, would damage it even more at a higher rate.

I never said his saber would last forever, I said that your barrel is gone.

I just find it odd that this happens just as I am about to do some pretty nasty damage to Raz.
