*Aries's Engrish hits the dirt and immediately begins something of a horribly mutated double soumersault, throwing dirt, trees, grass and rock up at the funnels. One is immediately struck by a fair-sized oak and goes out of control, burying its own nose in the dirt and shutting down completely, but the other boils on undaunted, strafing the Engrish Robo where it lies.* *Aries shakes back to reality to find that he's being fired upon, and his left arm is beginning to malfunction from both the fall and the beam blast that had cored through the shoulder matrix, cutting the power supply to his port mega particle cannons, and his port beam gun/saber, and freezing most of the limb.* *Aries brings the Engrish back to its feet, then looks up to see if the funnel is going to try to make another pass...* The last fin funnels did indeed come around, but this time, it's fire tracked the legs of Aries's suit... Meanwhile, Retal decided to take down the damaged opponent first. Knowing that Aries's attention was on the fin funnel, and not on him (the core fighter would be behind you, as the funnel passed by you on it's strafing run. So you're caught looking the other way, Aries) Retal decided that this was his best shot at making the odds somewhat-even. He immediately burned his thrusters and dove for the deck, using terrain-following flying to hide him from Aries's view as he closed in. He stayed at a reasonably high altitude, but with Aries's attention diverted by the funnel, it was unlikely that Retal would be spotted. As he closed, Retal noticed the damaged left arm of the Engrish, and he changed his plan of attack accordingly. Retal swooped in, low and fast, and the instant he reached a clearing behind Aries's suit, he immediately inverted his core fighter so that it's top (and the opened leader funnels) was facing Aries's suit, and he hit is UBP's to maximum thrust, hurtling him at the Engrish's left side. As he closed at insane velocities, and as Aries did whatever he did to evade the fin funnel's fire, Retal unleashed the cloud of charged plasma as he flew by the Engrish (and I mean, RIGHT by), the cloud trailing behind him like a smoke trail marking his path, knowing that at that range, it would be near-impossible for Aries to have avoided the stream of plasma that would overload and disable his suit, as the cloud would expand outwards towards his suit, so even dodging to the right would not save him...

*dies and is sick of himuliation of being kiled again and again and again and again no matter how hard he tries....* OOC: Then stop being so stupid, Van. Your problem is your tactics...not to mention, you still haven't taken to heart most of what I tried to teach you back at OYW. You are never going to win, Van, unless you stop making the same mistakes.

Ellis, now planted on the land near the Retalistion's remains, tracked the Core Fighter. A solid move, but not even close to a crushing blow.
First there was the fact that the leader had been used once before, it was a tiny funnel as is, the fact that leaders generaly only carry enough juice for one attack didn't help. Also consider how the plasma had been spread out into a tail of sorts, further reducing its potency.
The other funnel was no doubt on it way too, a single Core Fighter could not recharge it, no way.
As for the Core Fighter its self, with the beam machine guns blazing and pysco-frame active, all put huge pressures on the CF's small reactor, it would be a wonder is Retal didn't blow himself up.

OOC: I put a LOT of thought into the Retaliation's design, and I had the help of MechaMaster back over at MAHQ when I built it. The leader funnels contain three shot charges, and the funnels are recharged by the core fighter, as that is where their rack is. Because fin funnels have their own reactors, there was no need to fit e-caps into it to fuel them. And even a minimal amount of the plasma is still enough to render part of his suit immobile, and considering the damage he sustained, that is enough to make Aries at least a much less significant threat. And yes, the core fighter can recharge it. But only for one shot. As for the psychoframe, it doesn't drain that much power. Even when in conjunction with the beam machinecannon.

*Aries doesn't dodge at all, as the Engrish is coated in plasma, then freezes in place, the entire system shutting down.*
*As Ellie begins to tango with Retal again, Aries waits for the plasma to settle outside so he doesn't burn his lungs out, undoes his restraints, then hits the manual release on the Engrish's cockpit hatch, and the gangway swings down with none of the grace of hydraulics.*
*Aries gets out of his seat and sits on the edge of the gangway, a bottle of scotch in hand. He unscrews the top and tosses it away, then takes a drink, lifting the bottle towards the two remaining combatants, knowing that his place in this fight is over.*
Aries is gonna kill you, Ellie.

That stuff always ruins a nice MS, oh, btw, I have a challenge for you Dark Aries, since you like using NON-Newtype MS's and powers, shall we have another battle, but you using one of your OWN suits and I will use one of my Suits? I am panning on using a nice powerful suit *coughTallgeeseDesigncough*

OOC: Sorry Aries. No hard feelings, eh? IC: Retal, seeing that the Engrish is out of comission, turns to Ellis and his reborn Black Sarena... One down, now I can die should Ellis beat me. But, I do have to avenge Van...unfortunetely...Retal opens up the beam machinecannons again and fires off a burst at Ellis, then he goes to the ground and retrieves his fin funnels, cutting his engines off and laying down in the middile of a four-way intersection, keeping his UBP's ready for action against Ellis, but also to conserve a little fuel. Given the Sarena's formidible maneuverability, he would need all he could grab just to keep up with Ellis...

Ellis backed up, avoiding the beam attack.
"Oh don't be such a **** 'n ****er Aries-****, the Engrish will be fine in a few moments. Remember the Gundam, that got back to normal pretty quickly. The GP01fb snapped right back into action."
Ellis took aim and fired another shot at Retal's now somewhat vulnerable Core Fighter.
"Just a matter of time...."

Retal snapped the right UBP to life, while also bringing the left UBP to life a second later, when the core fighter was perpadicular to the ground. Thus, the core fighter jumped off the ground, and barrel rolled to avoid Ellis's attack. Retal maintained a relatively slow speed, popped above a nearby building, and fired at Ellis's legs with his beam guns.

Using his feet mounted drive system, Ellis easily slid backward and to the left, avoiding Retal's attack and putting some distance between the two of them.
"This growing rather dull, ne?"

Retal replied quickly. "Ne. It is. But, I'm not calling it quits until either I'm dead, you're dead, or you quit the battle. Cause I sure as hell am not giving up. You blew up my Gundam, an unforgiveable offense..." Retal blasted another pair of beam gun shots at Ellis, this time aiming just below it's torso...

Ellis twisted to the right, avoiding Retal's newest attack.
Well, I'm not giving up after all that work, and you can't beat me in that, so it looks like I have to kill you.

*Aries looks over, still on his Engrish's cockpit, half-drunk.*
Can't we all jus' get along? Peaceful-like?

*Aries looks over, still on his Engrish's cockpit, half-drunk.* Can't we all jus' get along? Peaceful-like? The Core Fighter flys past just two meters above the Engrish's cockpit, knocking Aries back into his seat and scortching him with exhaust... "Overconfidence gets you killed, Ellie. You know that as well as I. I've died before, and frankly, I'm ready to die again. But first, I'm going to sever a lib off your mecha first..." *Retal awaits Ellis's next move*
