As Carl gets under the Jegan and looks up, he's met by the cold stare of a rifle barrel, already glowing pink as it's about to be discharged. His gattling fire lodges deep in the right arm's elbow, completely disabling that joint from use.
EDIT: <OOC: Added 'gattling' there. I didn't imply that enough, my fault.>

(OOC: A: That's a forced hit, an illegal action. B: I boosted under you, went several yards behind you (I'm guessing about 100 feet), and then turned around, firing at you while you land. I'll be sure to be more specific next time.)

<OOC: If you kept moving, it's by no means forced. I'm shooting straight down while rotating a bit, so by all means missed. Nothing has to change.
EDIT: Ohhhhhh, I see what you're saying. No no, the right elbow is me, not you. Hell, if you took that hit, you'd blow up and me with you.>

(OOC: This is what I'm talking about. I mis-interprepted it, then.)
/me Manae fires down as the ARC flies under it, and the beam rifle's blast burns the armor on the ARC's right leg, leaving a gauge.

Landing with his right side towards the ARC, Manae fires off three more shots from his rifle, the first right at it, second held off until he moves, and leading that movement, and the final behind in case he decides to reverse that dodge.
On the third shot, the elbow of the right arm buckled from the kick, the beam rifle supported still by the left hand. The right hand let go, and the forearm bent backwards a few degrees more than it was meant to. Storing the rifle on his left side, Manae drew his left saber and launched in towards the ARC.

/me The ARC lifts its left and right arms and sidesteps the first shot to left. The second shot, fires right at him so he has his suit drop, having the ARC's head shot clean off and the third shot zooms off by. The ARC's back-up cameras kick in automatically, as its head is really used for the vulcans and decoration. This dropping further damages the left leg's knee, but it should hold out long enough.

Continuing his charge in, Manae lurches to a stop a few meters away. A few warnings pop up about stress on his legs, but he's not worried about that at the moment. The Jegan boost-jumps over the ARC, launching a grenade straight into the ground in front of it as he leaves the ground.

Manae parries easily, then pushes off of the ARC to jump higher while spraying his vulcans in a line towards both missile pods.
<OOC: meaning, firing at one and sweeping across to the other while still firing.>

If you want my missile pods so badly, why don't you take them! /me The missile pods open up and a barrage of 10 missiles spread out, and then close on Manae as they get closer. They come from all sides.

Already accelerating downwards due to gravity, Manae makes a small burst away from the ARC, the missiles collapsing their semicircle towards him. As they begin to get close, he bursts downwards, picking up speed, but not quite as fast as they are. As he nears the ground, he spins about, blasting his thrusters full to try to slow down, but of course it's useless.
He lands hard on his right hand, the shock nearly knocking him unconsious. He still has mind enough to save himself, though, and hits the thrusters again, kicking up a cloud behind him as missiles impact where he just left. The explosion sends the suit dragging across the desert earth for several meters before he comes to rest, and the Jegan stands shakily.
The right forearm dangles by only a cable or two, ready to fall off with the slightest tug. The shoulder has been ripped clear out, its servos non-opperational. In the cockpit, breathing heavily, a red glow is cast over Manae's body from warning lights and sirens of critical conditions of his armor and massive stress levels to systems.
Manae just stands there, gaining his bearings, looking over the fairly large distance now seperating him from his quarry.

/me The ARC cannot stand, and has returned one of its sabres to its back to prop itself up. He is also breathing heavily and is exhausted, after all, he's had a long day, and falling a few hundred feet can't be healthy either. He looks across the wide expanse that seperated Manae from himself. There is no real way he can get over there. Carl grabs his water bottle, untwists the lid, and takes a big swig. He opens up a com-line.
You wanna call it a draw, or keep going? I can't move, and I really can't tell from where I am sitting, but you don't look to good yourself.

Manae raises his beam rifle, locking on to the backpack of the ARC. He squeazes the trigger, but the rifle fizzles, the pack finally empty. He tosses it off to the side, and begins a slow trot towards his enemy.
The sirens getting annoying, Manae ejects his auxilery armor panals, several thousand pounds of cracked chobham crashing into dust, ripping his right forearm off with it. Most of the warning lights stop with the reduced weight.
The dragging walk is take forever, but Manae lacks the fuel to speed it up, his helium fuel resoivoirs dry from his attempted decceleration. As he finally nears in range, the ARC aims the remaining gatling, but it's disabled with a quick burst of vulcan fire like the other before.
Now standing in front of the stricken MS, the Jegan slowly kneels, sparks flying from the naked legs and body, as well as steam and hydraulic fluid as pipes and hoses burst. The torso leans over, the cockpit hatch is ejected, and Manae falls a few meters to the desert below. Sitting in the shadow of his own suit, he opens his pilots' suit, the air around him distorted from the heat flowing out of his body.
Taking it out his flask and having a swig, he looks up at the ARC:
So, you got a ride home, or do you need a lift?

Nah, I'm cool.
/me A large MS carrying truck and a construction mobile suit appear over the horizon.
Besides, the base isn't that far from here anyway.
/me The sun begins to set.
