As MR and Rose leave the crystal gardens, DC finishes setting up the ballroom for the reception. He scurries to and fro, checking up on the little details. He looks out the window to see the guests beginning to file out of the gardens, following the newlyweds.
"Ack!" he says. "I'm out of time!"
As MR and Rose approach the entrance of the castle, the massive wooden doors swing inwards for them. They pause on the threshold for a moment, not accustomed to the interior of the castle being so dark and forboding. Before they start becoming uncomfortable, candlebras set into the walls flare to life, illuminating the interior with a cozy light. A thin figure greets them, a strange clacking noise accompanying every other word.
"Congrats, MR and Rose. I'm..." the figure steps out of a shadow, revealing himself to be an animated skeleton in a well-tailored suit. "...Murray. While you were out there, the castle rearranged itself, much to DC's frustration. So he sent me to lead you to the ballroom." Murray turns and sets off at a brisk walk towards the back of the entry hall, with the wedding party following closely behind.
Meanwhile, DC tears out a large tuft of hair. "WHERE THE HELL DID I PUT THE CHAMPAGNE!?" After several seconds of frantic searching, he gives up and decides to simply conjure some. He frantically waves his arms, the lights in the room extinguishing themselves at his glance.
Murray turns a final corner and begins walking slowly down a well-furnished hallway. The stone floor has a large strip of luxurious carpet with an intricate black and silver design running almost from wall to wall, the walls seem to be made of the same onyx-and-gold-vein that the altar was made of, and the ceiling is high and enchanted to provide a view of the night sky, currently displaying the rainbow effect still being created by the crystals. Murray stops outside a large pair of mahogany doors and pushes them both open. The space beyond the doors is a murky darkness, one where it is almost impossible to see your hand in front of your face. A faint snapping sound emanates from somewhere in the black room and candles set in chandeliers burst into flame, illuminating the Grand Ballroom.
The Ballroom is extremely large, with a white marble floor run through with black stripes. The walls are white, with tapestries and paintings hanging at regular intervals along them. The ceiling looks like it is made out of a dome of glass, offering a beautiful view of the night sky and the full moon shining down. There is an area with a single long table, one that could easily seat the entire wedding party. There are two seats at one end of the table, and one seat at the other. Small cards are set around the table near the silverware and crystal goblets, with the names of the occupants inscribed in a thin script on them in silvery ink.
Standing in the middle of the ballroom is DC, grinning broadly with a full head of hair again. Several tables piled with food materialize along the left wall as small fountains appear on both the food and dining tables. The fountains start gushing forth a steady stream of champagne as a light waltz starts playing, the music coming from an unseen orchestra.
"How do you like it?" he asks. "I'm glad to have an occasion to use it."
