For those who didn't know, Sam Baker, one of the contributors to MAHQ, died on August 16th due to drowning while on vacation. I didn't know the guy personally, nor on the net, but from what others say about him I understand he's been a pretty good guy. I frequent MAHQ for my mecha information, and I'm sure quite a few of the people here do to, which is why I am making the fate of one of the contributors to MAHQ known. An obituary and a link to a guestbook dedicated to Sam can be found here: www.legacy.com/dfw/LegacySubPage2.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonId=1329490

I was surprised it took so long, I found out 2 days ago on MAHQ when I tried to go look up info of the RX-79[G] for my custom. But it is a shame he went. But I never knew he drowned, becuase it didnt say how on MAHQ.

Poor Baker... an active contributer to the Gundam community. Haro bless.
I'm surprised I didn't see this in the guest book, so I added,
....and now, in anticipation on your insight into the future....

I used to talk to him all the time on the MAHQ.net Chat (#mahq). He will be sorely missed.
