It's been a half a year since this MB started, and only one member was banned for bad behavior. Too bad it wasn't no members were banned yet, but, oh well. My last board lasted only a couple of months, and this board lasted longer, and let's hope to see this board to see a year, or more. What makes this place different from most MBs, I made this board to have people hang out. People can do what they want, as long as it stays within the rules, but...we have over ten thousand posts, over two hundred topics, perhaps we could go on. But, the only thing I wonder is, how could something like this, become so popular? It even outlasted that bar the Luna II forum had during the RPG Forum days at G.com. Hell, that place just stayed there, while members of the Bar spread it across other boards, for some reason, I think this could outlive all of us, the Bar, I mean, not the Board, the Board may lose members, but there are other members of the bar that are spreading it throughout the net, amazing thought, isn't it? As much as G.com, and AX Mods want to think it, this bar remains alive, no matter what they say, or do. Unlike what most people think, I did not make this Board to have the power of an admin, far from it, why do you think I put other admins in place? I don't want this power, but I have to keep it so that the bar can be ran like I want it to, but Members' opinions are wanted, and no, we won't through them into the fire, we have a better way, vaporize them, no evidence! ;D Just joking, just joking, but I think that the other admins are capable, why else make them admins? Anyway, as long as people don't flame, spam, or breaking rules, they are welcomed, if they're like char999, or EHS, then they will be booted out like the idiots they are!

It truely is amazing. A whole bunch of my gundamproject buddies who I thought I would never see again, all of a sudden showed up. Mav, your bar has not only created a haven for The MS Pilot's Bar patrons, but for The Unofficial Gundamproject Bar's costomers. This message board has to be the coolest thing in my boring life right now.

...If you think about it...all the members of this board are refugees of fallen boards, or told to come by another member who is. We all came from fallen boards to this little becon in the darkness of the vast web and now call it our home. Congrats Mav, i'm glad to be a part of this place, and i'll be here till the end to help
...well...I'll try to anyway

Come to think of it, we must have the biggest bar on the web.
It has (counting the approx of the ones at g.com)
800+ pages. That's a lot. If we were to count even the Gundamproject strand of bars... the would make it 1000+

*grins.*
Of course this bar prospers! It's full of life, it's full of personality, this bar is a nice place to come to!
You know, Aries has figured it out: This bar is our Cheers!
And, of course, there actually is a bar named Cheers in Boston.
*grins.*
There is a place we want to come to, everyone knows our name, in most cases are also glad we're there, this is a good place to come!
Why?
Easy! Because this bar is one of the essances of life: this bar is a place where people come to have fun!
And besides, there is the fact that Aries is here. And the fact of Aries's superior wit, personality, charm and brilliance!
Can you get that anywhere else?!
Of course not! Because this is the only place Aries really goes!

Heh. The MS Pilot Bar has outlasted many of us Mav. Many have left, and yet, people still come daily. It's a miracle huh? This place might eventually become so popular, there might have to be a whole website devoted to it. There's no doubt in my mind that this place will outlast all of the old members, even the new ones. As long people keep coming, then it will survive. And I have to agree with Cyg, this place is becoming a haven for outcasts of many bars on many MBs. *Whacks Aries over the head with the brownie that Aries whacked him over the head with in the Movie thread* Of course, Aries. How many other MBs are lucky enough to have an idiot like you? (j/k)

Ironic, message board goers are generally the out-castes of the every day world, so what does that make us as the out-castes of the out-castes?
Pretty damn vibrant I'd say. Out of all the boards I've been to, out of all the boards I've called my home, this one has harbored the most sensible web master, the friendliest mods and the all around most interseting members.
What really proves the point is that we have like what, 30 active users? I guess big things come in small packages.

Mav, I pretty much knew this place would go for a while, things like this are just plain fun. Plus, you don't press down unecessary rules, there are a lot of likeable people here, and it's a nice place to go and relax, take a load off of real life. Mav, this place is great. let's keep it up.

Man I can still remember in my memory the first page of the first bar at G.com. It seems like a lot more than a year and a half that its been.
