Well, considering how I have to be of to work in 2 hours and... 47 minutes, the soon we get started the better. I'm in school right now, so the earliest I can be online is about three and a half hours. Still too late.... *curses* I guess you could make your intro now, to save time...if you want. We still don't know what Aries is bringing to the party anyway...

Or even if Aries will show up in time too.... Well, that might be good, cause then we'd be able to continue this when everybody is online and ready to rock...

Ellis arrives approximately 15 kilometers from the surface of Luna II, with him is the ReGZ Ellis Custom in Wave rider mode.
"...."
Ellis glances at Side 7 for a moment, then begins to boot up his combat system.

A large custom cruiser appears outside the battlefield. The ship is fashioned much like an ancient Pirate Ship. The front of the ship sports a large man-wolf instead of the traditional mermaid. The ship shows signs of battle, and the armaments are rather standard as far as modern cruisers go.
Written across the rear of the ship in a sketchy white is "Black September". This is the infamous name of one mans lead flagship. From the shuttle bay as single mobile suit launches. It is a Zorin Soul, with a custom jet black paint scheme. Across the front are more sketchy white decals, like the ship. Things to the effect of "Your Ass Here" on the foot, and "Fear is an emotion for the weak".
The Zorin Soul stops at the edge of the battlefield. The pilot inside does a quick systems check and then waits in silence, only after he utters one small phrase.
"The Winds of Change are blowing."

Technicians and crew chiefs were scurrying around like mad, making last minute repairs, alterations, and rearming procedures to get the two units ready for launch. Within the hangar of the modified White Nova-class assault carrier Perfect Venture, it was chaos incarnate. Which, Retal supposed, was how it was all supposed to be when preparing for war. It was hard not be be reflective, especially when you are the center of the action, sitting in your cockpit waiting for all the techs and support personnel to get done so you can get out and fight.
He looked out from the cockpit of his Core Armor 01 to the Retaliation Gundam Mark II, which was likewise covered in personnel, annoying it's pilot as well. He opened up a comm line. "Ready kid? This should be our easiest battle yet. Just remember what I told you and we'll be fine. This is the moment of truth. Fly fast, shoot straight, don't charge into a fight you can't win, and you'll achieve glory here today."
"You realize that's not helping any, right?" Van said quietly, anxious to get out there...
"Of course, but I'm reminding you not to do anything stupid. Not like last time."
"Hey, I was double-teamed!"
"Yeah, you got double teamed after I explicity told you to stay away from the two of them..."
"That was in the past, I'm better now than I was then." Van replied, indignant.
"I hope so. Just remember, that is a retro version of MY suit you're piloting there, so don't screw up."
A crackle came over his comm line, cutting off Van's reply. "Commodore, Captain, the crews have cleared you for launch, you ready?"
Retal looked around, and he could see the little ants that were his support crews running away from the launch catapults. He adjusted himself in his seat accordingly, and started going through combat checklists. The Core Armor 01's monitors and displays started beeping and glowing as Retal's hands moved over the controls, manipulating, extending, moving...
The the Gundam's cockpit, the head closed up, the ejection capsule closing around him as Van also started maniuplating controls. The Gundam was currently kneeling over, and as automated transport systems slowly rolled both units to the launch catapults, Van brought the Gundam to a standing position, it's eyes glowing a pale blue.
Meanwhile, in the Core Armor 01, the wings extended outwards, the cockpit and running lights blinking slowly in sequence. Both units shuddered to a stop on the ramps. "You first, kiddo." Retal muttered as he brought the system up and running.
"Control, this is Van in the Gundam, all systems are green and ready for launch." Van said, his voice unusually calm.
"Gundam Retaliation Mark II, you are cleared for launch. Kill him good." The controller said. The backside of the Gundam began to glow, and a low rumbling quickly grew into a painful scream as its thrusters ignitedd, hurling it off the catapult...
"Retal here in Core Armor 01, all systems green, let's get out to the party." Retal said calmly to the controller. It's voice came back quickly.
"Commodore, you are clear for launch. Kill em' good and take care of the kid..."
"No promises..." Retal muttered as his own engines burned to life, slamming him back on his seat and catapulting him out into the great void beyond. He quickly spotted Van and took up his position beside him. "Van, let's do it. Two bogies have appeared on my scopes, engage and terminate."
Together, they dove for the opposite end of Luna II, heading for the assembling battleground...

*Aries, sitting in the cockpit of the Gundam F91, put his shoulder in the curve of his hand, then rotated it around, hearing the joint pop a little. Grinning, he lowers his goggles over his face, cracks his knuckles, and looks out his port monitor at Zorak, beginning to bring his systems online.*
Hoooooookee dokiee...ready up?

Yeah. Rule Number One: Parameters were made to be broken. Rule Number Two: There is no such thing as Bushido in a combat zone...
*Aries grins, gripping the control sticks for his Gundam.*
*The sun rises over the edge of Luna II, on which his F91 Gundam stands, painted white, green and black, bearing no colorful phrases as Raz's Zorin Soul might, but a simple white quadruple chevron across the right shoulder where the number 'F91' should be. His eyes squinted for a moment before both his goggles and his monitors adjusted to the glare, and he checked the rising power levels on his reactor.*
Rule Number Three: If at any time, time-out is called due to someone getting a splinter, stand down immediately!
*He grins, and keeps going on...*

The man in the Zorin Soul sat silently, not acknowledging his combatants or his teammates. He sat there, the systems of his mobile suit flashing infront of him.
He closed his cold blue eyes, and breathed out, his breath crystalizing in his cockpit. As he opened his eyes, he could feel everything. He had just activated his newtype powers, he usually kept them locked away in his subconscious but, he would need them this time around.
As he moved his eyes around at the various screens on his HUD, he itched at the long scar running vertically down his left temple.
"Aries, before you make yourself look like more of an ass, just do the dead a favor and shut up."
If you haven't figured it out yet, this man is dead. You probably could have figured that out by the pirate like ship, and his breath freezing in a heated cockpit, but even though he is beyond the spectral plane this isn't the same man many of these children have faced before. Little do they know, how much his fighting styles can vary.
