(*rolls his eyes.*) (For one thing, Aries was attacked TWICE before he could respond to the first one, and you say that the second automatically hit? Around here, attacking twice before a response is posted is not only bad manners, but because the situation could not be updated for the second attack before it was executed, it's equivalented to shooting where your target was rather than where it is.) (Even tracking fire would mean that you'd be shooting behind Aries, because you're working with outdated information.) (And, Vannie-boy, do NOT play like you know more than Aries in this kind of fighting. Aries'll lay it down for you right now. YOU DON'T.) (Oh, and also, Four Posts Left.) Actually Aries, you do not seem to understand, eventhough I was firing behind you, you STATED that when you slammed your Zaku's head into the ground, the weapons shots went above, that was AFTER you slammed into the ground, so the shots WOULD hit you. As I was tracking, you stopped, you get hit. You would of probably done exactly the same as I did if you were in my position. AND NEVER claim you know more than someone else, just because they don't show it doesnt mean they that they dont.

Aries was already rolling in response to Manae's attack. your gun had already been fired several times and you have a max of 100 rounds available to you. Which means by the time you tracked Aries to where he was after he finished rolling, your gun would be run dry. He's alive, and you've just wasted everything you had in return for nothing.

Actually, it is also partly down to his own fault, and so he should be dead, or, if not, damaged pretty badly. I had not fired much of anything if at all, as you stopped me from doing so remember?
I would of had Libra if you didn't interupt, so, now you are going to interupt me getting Aries?
The fact is, Aries stated that I fired after he landed in the ground, so I would of hit him with the fire, as it takes atleast 8 seconds to get out of the ground, especially upside down as the boosters are pointing upwards.
As I stated before, I see Aries dead, or crippled. Because tracking him means that he stopped, and so, he would be hit, and he stated I fired after he hit the ground, and because I was tracking him, it would be like 10-15 rounds go above him before the rounds start hitting him hard.

Van, don't act any dumber than you right now proving yourself to be and let this drop. ARIES IS ALIVE. Don't make me go into an explaination on this, Van. You are wrong, it is as simple as that. Machineguns fire rounds at an extreme rate, you fired off a continious stream of rounds, by all logic, since he rolled ON THE GROUND, he would be moving to the side just as you were swinging your gun down to target him, adding to that the fact that you are still spraying rounds as you track, 100 rounds of ammo does not go far. You are wrong. Stop thinking otherwise. I stopped you from killing Libra because I want him myself, and in return I let you take a shot at Aries, had you been smart and fired in bursts instead of steady fire, your arguements would have been valid, but you didn't. Therefore, you are wrong, Aries is alive, and you have some reloading to do. No one is going to back you up on this, Van. And if I'm arguing with you, then you know I have reason to back it up.

Isn't it odd that I find no mention of that in this: *At the first sign of Retal's fire, though, Aries put his F2 into a downward port roll to avoid the fire.* *After the F2 buried its face in the jungle before it could get in a position to land, Steel emtied an entire clip above him. Ow. *The F2 gets back up, then shakes the dirt and trees off of its head.* Say what now?

Isn't it odd that I find no mention of that in this: Oh for fucking.... Van, drop this already, damn it. I'm not going to spend all day arguing with you on this since you are now obviously pouting. You still have plenty of ammo with which to kill him. Just freaking try again. Sometimes I wonder why in the hell I try and help you out...

I will then remove myself from this battle. As I am currently not enjoying RPing here at this time.

Although it really does feel like that at times such as now. That's because we both wanted the same targets. Libra and Aries. BTW, your new suit is ready.

*Aries shakes his head, his Zaku on its back, but already beginning to push itself back up into a standing position.*
Like he said, pick your battles better, boy.
*Focusing back on Manae one the F2 is back on its feet, Aries frowns a little, since the steam is completely obstructing any view of the Zaku, despite the fact that it's already beginning to dissipate.*
Smart move...
*He wets his lips, checks the rounds on both machine guns, then shakes his head again.*
Coulda brought a bazooka...or even a few grenades...taken care of this situation...but nooooo...
*He levels his MMP-78 at the steam cloud, knowing that he's not going to hit Manae because of the inaccuracy caused by holding a Zaku machinegun with only one hand, however, he's not trying to hit him, just spook him.*
Damned lack of foresight.
*He opens up with the '78.*

*As Gundam Retal charges toward him, NM watches carefully.* Gotta get this right... My High Mobility Type is faster than he is... *NM disarms his Bazooka (and, subsequently ejects his ammo inside of it), and brings it up before him as a shield.* I'm not going to be fooled by that trick. *Using his free left hand, NM grabs his own Heat Hawk. As Retal charges, NM blocks Retal's first blow with his own Bazooka, using the block to give him time to dance out range of Retal's second attack. His Bazooka is severed in half.* I'll cut you to pieces! *NM charges forward in his own attack, swinging his severed Bazooka at Retal's torso as he readies for Retal's counterstrike.*

Manae holds his breath, expecting any of the rushing, turbulent trails above him to suddenly arc down. Moving slowly out of the area, he checks his monitors. The joint seals are starting to give way, and his entire suit is cooled off; no more steam will be produced and he's going to get himself a bad case of MS-Arthritis.
Getting his aim through the haze and Minovsky effect, Manae makes his move. Using his boosters to hasten things, he follows the sloping riverbed out of the water, slightly off to Aries' side but still in melee range, with a few quick bursts from his machinegun for Aries' pleasure.

His Bazooka is severed in half.* I'll cut you to pieces! *NM charges forward in his own attack, swinging his severed Bazooka at Retal's torso as he readies for Retal's counterstrike.* Retal, as previously stated, was ready for tricks. As the heat hawk came down to be blocked, Retal had, just as he always planned to do, released the free hand from the heat hawk and used it to grab the smoke grenade from his grenade rack, the motion going unoticed by the occupied Nowhere Man. As NM danced, Retal primed the grenade, and as NM got ready to charge, Retal took a few moments to say: "Problem with that, kiddo..." When NM charged, Retal turned and activated his thrusters to strafe to the right as he hurled the smoke grenade into the Zaku High Maneuverability Type's chest (we are at near point-blank to close range, the chance for avoidance is pretty near nil) where it detonated, blinding the Zaku as Retal charged in, his newtype senses allowing him to estimate exactly where NM was positioned, he just couldn't tell the posture that NM's Zaku was in. At the same time he stabbed his heat hawk forward, Retal fired off another five-round burst from his retrieved machinegun, ensuring something was going to get hit. "...you just fell for the same trick you attempted to avoid."
