I would of had Libra if you didn't interupt, so, now you are going to interupt me getting Aries? No, you wouldn't have had me. I would have found a way to get you, so you might just want to say you had a chance at me next time. So are you officially withdrawing?

Retal, as previously stated, was ready for tricks. As the heat hawk came down to be blocked, Retal had, just as he always planned to do, released the free hand from the heat hawk and used it to grab the smoke grenade from his grenade rack, the motion going unoticed by the occupied Nowhere Man. As NM danced, Retal primed the grenade, and as NM got ready to charge, Retal took a few moments to say: "Problem with that, kiddo..." When NM charged, Retal turned and activated his thrusters to strafe to the right as he hurled the smoke grenade into the Zaku High Maneuverability Type's chest (we are at near point-blank to close range, the chance for avoidance is pretty near nil) where it detonated, blinding the Zaku as Retal charged in, his newtype senses allowing him to estimate exactly where NM was positioned, he just couldn't tell the posture that NM's Zaku was in. At the same time he stabbed his heat hawk forward, Retal fired off another five-round burst from his retrieved machinegun, ensuring something was going to get hit. "...you just fell for the same trick you attempted to avoid." *The Smoke Grenade detonates. NM smiles. He boosts backward and right, waiting for Retal. Retal's attack slices air, swirling the smoke around him.* You fool. A Smoke Grenade only kicks up a temporary haze so that visiblity is decreased. If you wanted to knock out my camera, you should have used a Blinder Cracker. Now you have fallen for your own trick. *NM puts away his Heat Hawk and grabs his MMP-80.* And so you shall die... *NM kicks up his Sonar, which catches Retal's position.* You may live, but I intend that you be destroyed... *NM fires directly at Retal's position with the MMP-80.*

Retal muttered more to himself than NM as he simply applied a little more power to his thrusters, strafing right and avoiding the fire while he took his own heat hawk and sliced it at NM's machinegun, giving him the option of either losing the gun, or stopping his fire...

Using the barrel of his own 90mm, Retal brings it up and to the side in order to knock NM's MMP-80 off to the side and ruin his aim as he increases power to his thrusters while NM boosts back and closes in. "No kidding, and your HMT may be faster in space, but on land, it's nothing. Remember that." Retal stabs his heat hawk at the other Zaku's chest while dropping his machinegun...

(What is stabbing someone with a Heat Hawk going to do? If it were a Large Heat hawk like the Dozle Zabi Zaku II and the Ramba Ral Zaku I had, then you might accomplish something with stabbing with a Heat Hawk.)
The Original Action Zaku has been waiting for an opportunity and fires at Retal's Zaku with its Beam Rifle. (I switched while walking around.)

Since I doubt the blow will connect, it matters not. But if it does, well, let's just say the little skirmish here would have ended abruptly. I'll wait for NM's reply before I respond here, Draco.

I grow weary of you. *NM picks up his own output so that he is moving faster than Retal.* The HMT's mobility isn't just for show. *Now going faster than Gundam Retal, NM swats away the shaft of the heat Hawk with his MMP-80, causing the Heat Hawk to knick some of the shoulder armor, causing minimal damage. With his opponent now defensless, NM fires at Retal's torso at point-blank with the now free MMP-80.* You just made your last move.

Before, however, NM fired, Retal sensed the attack from Draco, and thus, the fire came at NM when Retal sidestepped. Meanwhile, Retal simply kicked in more juice, racing to the flank of the still-slower unit in atmosphere (those thrusters are designed for space, on Earth, they are a lot less effective) while slicing upwards with his heat hawk... "Allow me to return the sentiment. I should have moved on to Draco by now, but you're slowing me down. Big mistake."

My MMP-80 rounds went right through your Zaku. Sorry. And if you want to argue that point, I must point you to this: You were engaged with me, and attacked. I responded to that attack, in a matter fitting. The problem with what you did is that your hunk-of-junk couldn't possibly move fast enough to attack, and avoid my fire and Draco's Beam. Game over. We're both dead. you with my MMP-80 rounds, and me with a Beam. Life is a bitch, no?

Furthermore, in your own post, you knocked the heat hawk off course first, then fired. And Zaku Kai's can make Dom-like strafing maneuvers, which is what I did. Of course, it again, all depends on when Draco shot.

On further thought, you were boosting forward. Your balancer would have to correct themselves in order for you to move back again. Not only that, but there is the question of inertia. Your Zaku would still be driving at me as I fired...
