As a few of you here know already, I'm working on a flash series based on the Megaman story. Unfortunately, that means I'll need to create a new series of sprites for the mavericks.
Sooooo... If anybody wants to give me a hand, just drop me a line in this thread or my PM box.

Oh, that reminds me... I finally got a mic for my computer, but it squeals a little bit. So whenever we get this started, I have a way to record my lines, assuming you can take care of the background noise.

Dude, you know I've had a mic for several years that I would have lent you.
I'd help with the sprite thing, but I'm afraid that I dont know what I'm doing.

Basicly, I need people to rip apart current spritesheets into upper/lower arms & legs, heads, and bodies. Then recolor them and make changes to them. (it's really easy, but time-consuming)
Here's what I'm going to do for the animations I make with them-
Step 1- convert the sprite pieces into vector maps for a styalized effect.
Step 2- use the parts of the characters overlayed on one another to create simple aimation sequences in Flash
Step 3- connect the sequences together to create the complete character animations
I'll use those character animations in combination with the special backgrounds, special effects, integrated cutscene versions of the main characters (for headshots), the sound, voices and music to create the movies.
It's awesomeness in the making- but I'm too lazy to do it all by myself.

Delta War is based entirely on 16-bit sprite-pieces.
And actually, Draco- it's not full sprites I need. But rather the following pieces of each character sprited:
Head (several poses for nonhumanoid heads for mouth positions)
Upper Arms
Lower Arms
(hands- if it's not too much trouble)
Body (several poses- for different angles when walking/running)
upper legs
lower legs
So instead of a sheet of poses of a character, I have all the parts of that character from which to make poses on-the-fly.
Basicly, the reason for doing it this way is that it ends up being less tedious than editing whole sheets of sprites, and I can create a wider range of poses (for hand-to-hand battles, for example) as well as "damaged" characters, who are missing certain parts (for example, if I do not use a lower arm on a character, but instead a generic sparking wire animation to simulate that the lower arm has been forcably removed).
The design will be left up to the spriters, I think- so any 16-bit megaman enemies are free game for starting sprites. The following are the names for the characters in the series to date:
Main chars.- (original sprites w/edits by me) Megaman Megaman X Protoman Zero Bass Delta Dr. Light Dr. Wily Sigma
Characters for which I request help designing-
Enemies (wily-built)- Time Man Melt Man Dark Man X Blink Man
Enemies (maverick)- Temporal Tortise Flame Jaguar Shadow Chameleion Dash Hedgehog (yes, I realize that this is a painfully obvous homage to Sonic.)
Misc. Chars- scientists civilians soldiers attorneys children Chorus (Delta's canine-bot companion)

Okay. I'll rip apart a Sting Chameleon sheet for you tomorrow as part of my contribution.
Also, have you considered asking for help over at the Bob and George forums? You could pop over there and make your request known.

Okay here's the thing- I have the sheets for all the mavericks from the original games (thanks to my pals at Sprites, inc.). If you guys need any originals, just let me know and I'll give 'em to ya. I just don't have the drive to edit each and every character myself.
Also- On getting the characters, I'd like to have a name to put in the credits. That way, I can give proper credit to all those involved in the process of making Megaman: Delta War.
(And if anyone wants to help with other areas of the project, feel free to ask)

Do you need any help with voices? I could lend you my voice acting.

Could always use more help with the voices. (There are, after all, a whole lotta characters)

Okay then. And also, I've already looked to the BnG forums. They ran me out for "plugging my stuff" when I put up a link to the old page, and then requested the aid of anyone available.
