<OOC: I can't tell if that's in front of me or back. Too many frames of reference without enough info on which way we're looking at it.> The Physalis slows, turning to towards the Regolith as the beam rifle bounces harmlessly off the shoulder, though it heats up a little.Jitte systems are meant for blocking a saber. That tiny beam is too far back in a rifle to actually attack with. While saying, Manae thrusts into the Regolith, ripping his saber upwards towards the sheild-holding shoulder.OOC: Actually, it wouldn't harmlessly bounce off the shoulder. I have seen it in use by the GP01-FB. It would be long enough to slice into the booster pod but not slice it off. And it my last move is perfectly understandable. I said I walked backwards and turned 90 degrees so I would end up on your left.

<OOC: Well, charging towards you from where I was in the air, but I'd reach the ground before reaching you.> Manae uses a small burst of rockets to the side to avoid each beam, then takes a stab towards the Regolith's sheild, upper center. Steel though, walks backwards as Manae attempts to stab and swings round to the left by 90 degrees while walking backwards.
This would cause Manae's saber to miss, but also would allow Steel to open up on Manae.
So, while Steel was turning, he engaged the Jitte system on his Beam Rifle and swing is accross from right to left accross the left side of Manae.

Ejecting the spent E-Pac, Manae stores the rifle. Charging towards the Regolith with vulcans flaring, his beam saber flashes out. OOC: By charging I presume you are on the ground correct? IC: Steel just raises his shield to take the shots and puts his Rifle next to his shield (on the right of the shield).
Meanwhile, he settles down on the ground while keeping his boosters warm.
He then pumps off 2 quick shots from his Beam Rifle at the targeted Gundam.

OOC: Ok, thankyou.
IC: Steel performs barrel-roll to the left, which brings him immidiatly out of the fire from Manae.

Manae, can you do a quick Shit-paint-image-job showing me where you are and where I am and the direction of fire?

If Ellis or Manae agrees with that, I will re-do my move.

OOC: He said from above though. Not at above me, but from above, which could mean he was 10 miles away (exageration), but slightly higher than me, which means above me.
And firing that beam rilfe quick enough to create a blanket of fire would cause it to. A.) Generate alot of heat, maybe slightly less than a Sniper Rifle, but close to it. B.) Uses alot of power from the E-Pac. C.) Can cause the rifle to become damaged due to the high change in heat levels, with the constant cooling and heating of rapid fire.
Heck, even machineguns struggle with giving a constant rate of fire without something breaking or over-pressuring.

OOC: Slight question though. If the beams were aimed down to where I was, and not where I was moving, Wouldn't the beams pass just below me?

OOC: I know we are not at arms reach. So that means I can avoid your beams, if we were at arms reach, I wouldn't be able to avoid those beams.
This just proves to me that there is near to none decent MS RPers these days.

<OOC: If you're trying to boost over blanket fire aimed down at you, it doesn't matter if the targeting is 'old.' You're boosting straight into more beams.> OOC: Listen, if you were far enough away to avoid my Vulcan fire, then I we are far enough so that the beams will be not coming down down. They cannot come directly down for starters, as you were never directly above me. Because you were able to avoid my Vulcan fire, that means the angle of those beams are going to be at 45 Degrees at most. If we are close enough for those to be greater than 45 Degrees, then my shots SHOULD of hit you.

<OOC: How are you boosting above fire coming down at you?> OOC: If it is coming DOWN at me, it is using outdated info, and therefore, if I boost directly up, that means I can go above the fire.

Instead of stupidly standing there while the Regolith traversed the large gap between them to get to his backside, Manae fires his still-warm boosters and lays down an area blanket of beam fire from above Steel. Steel simple boosts above the fire before coming down to land on the ground again."This is getting boring."

<OOC: Ack, thought I posted already Sorry for the wait.> Manae scowls, letting the Physalis come to a halt in the tall grasses. It takes two to tango, kid. Dance a little and you won't be bored. But, because Manae had stopped, and Steel had been charging his boosters, it gave Steel plenty of time to quickly boost round behind Manae.
Steel then opened up on the immobile Gundam's rear fuel tanks with his own Vulcans while preping for a max acceleration boost.

The Physalis continues to carge, suddenly darting off to its left--away from the mound of the diamond mine--while firing three more beams. Steel turns to stay facing head on to Manae, and side-steps again letting the beams flash by. Meanwhile, he begins charging his boosters."Come on. You're boring me, I have seen better pilots than you, not saying I ever beat them, but they are alot better and more exciting."
