<Well, with Steel all happy about his win, I'll extend an invitation to him to duel. Me in my Physalis Custom, him in his Regolith. Sneaky boy, tossing in a pic to make me look like I got a Physalis-remodeling idea off of him. But 'created on' dates just don't lie.> The dry, wind-swept savannah is harsh this time of year. Grazing animals eat what they can while bitter winds blow dust about in small tufts, blinding them to the deadly predators in the distance. Out here, the law is survival, and only the strong can survive its rules.
A horrible metalic grating shatters the quasi-peaceful scene. Near a large, dusty mound jutting from the surface of the grassland, an elevator carries the Physalis Custom into view. It shows no sign of operation, yet is obviously ready for battle, sporting its extra fuel tanks, beam rifle, and sheild.
This is, of course, the Kinbareid diamond mines. Beneath them is an small but abandoned base. The close space isn't nearly as ideal for fighting as the grasslands, but offers a nice alternative to being out in the open at the wrong time.
The Physalis' eyes glow brightly.Come, Steel, let us play.

The Physalis' eyes glow brightly.Come, Steel, let us play. OOC: Raises EyebrowI didn't expect anyone challenging me this quick. After my continues loses, people started getting bored with me, so I wonder what made you want to battle me then... Oh well. A Battle it is then. IC: From the distance, a trailing dust cloud can be seen, and just infront of the cloud, is a 2 armed and 2 legged machine. This is the Regolith Gundam, RPY-01-P1.
Steel is inside the cockpit tightening his harness while "driving" the suit with his free hand as tje Regolith comes into the battleground with the use of it's Ground Effect systems.
Steel brings his suit to halt a short distance from the other suit."We both will hopefully enjoy this battle." Steel then pops out the Beam Saber contained in the left hip and charges at Manae. (Ground effect is no longer engaged)OOC: Just letting you know, that my Beam Rifle is stored in the shield at the moment.

Manae thrusts to his right, leaving a dusty trail behind him, and fires a burst of three beams towards the Regolith.

Steel side-steps to the right, thus avoiding the beams as they go past his left.
Steel then spins round and withdraws his beam saber, aswell as engaging it.
Meanwhile, he rotates to face Manae and fires off a short burst from the head vulcans in the path of the direction which Manae is travelling.

Manae cuts his thrust, and drops in a crouch beneath the fire, grinding to a halt creating a big plume of dust. He fires a beam to where Steel is, knowing it'll be hard to see coming through this choking cloud.

But, by then, Steel had already started coming round to Manae's left Flank, and Steel began closing in quickly.

Fires a burst of vulcan fire to slow Steel down while regaining his stance. OOC: Please explain how you saw me coming round to your flank if you stated I couldn't see in?

<OOC: Skidding would only cause a cloud in front of me. You'd be clear as day coming in an arc around.>

Fires a burst of vulcan fire to slow Steel down while regaining his stance. Steel simply used his shield to block the Rounds which scrap the surface of the shield."That better buff out."

<OOC: Skidding would only cause a cloud in front of me. You'd be clear as day coming in an arc around.> *The ZSF Physalis Custom watches from a distance as the two other customized suits battle* OOC: Manae, you forgot all about my Physalis. I believe I created mine before yours. And the dust cloud would primarily be in front of you, but as you slide into it, the dust will move around to your sides, and a very thin scattered cloud behind you. As you come to a stop, anything that you would have skid past would drift towards the front of you.

<OOC: Here, best picture I can describe for you. Going forward through the air, then drop onto the ground dragging the feet to stop. It'd actually kick up dust in the direction I was skidding, except the vacuum of air behind would suck it there. There'd be a small plume in front and to the sides, and a general drift towards me, but nothing substantial enough to block my view of someone trying to get my flank.>
Manae smiles, now facing his advancing prey. He locks the beam rifle onto a hardpoint in the shield and draws a saber, turning the power up just a touch.
EDIT: <Hmm, so you do have one. Never noticed it before, Libra. Perhaps it's the lack of a picture that made me pass over it.... ;P Ah well.>

Also, when you said, turn the power up a little, did you mean engaging the beam saber or not?

<Yeah, it's on. Remember when the GP02 and GP01Fb were fighting? Gato pushed up two analog controls and juiced up his saber. I'd assume most MS have the controls to do it, but it'd sap the power faster.>

OOC: Yeah, my Physalis was made before any of you came to the bar. Jan 2003 was the rollout date for it... lol. First post, 4-5 suits down.
