Hmm... Metal Gear has probably been the only game I was ever into quite that much. Ahh... love those games.

The Gerbera, already moving, just pushed further down the slope, causing all but one shell of the buckshot to miss. But that shell collided with the sheild and did only superficial damage.
Using the head vulcans, he sprays the area where the Kaempher had fired, and just a bit further to make sure he drives his enemy back a bit more, swinging back and forth in wide arcs to avoid any more incoming weapons fire.

Manae chases the GP04 with his vulcan fire, but to little avail. As the first beam is shot, he fires his shoulder verniers to push himself downward, also avoiding the second beam.
Using the time wasted in striking a senseless pose, Manae falls down, disappearing into the permanant shadow of a craggy crater. Gunn, unable to tell exactly where the Kaempher went, comes down low, skimming the ridge, hugging the ground.

The Gerbera makes a sudden, and quite fast, jump directly upwards, and to the left, avoiding the shotgun blast, but having one ball of buckshot tap the shield. In doing so, he also avoids the Panzer Faust, and the arc of Vulcan fire, while laying down two beam rifle shots, one directly above, and another to the right of the Kaempher.
After firing, Gunn takes the Gerbera into a roll, and swings back around, in front of the Kaempher, swinging up the shield, considering to opt for close quarters combat, but in the end, decides that would most likely be a stupid decision, as the beam rifle would make quick work of the Kaempher if he aimed it correctly.

<OOC: Er... There were six rounds to deal with, not three...> The Kämpher passed through the dust and turmoil of the exploded round. As Manae emerged, the glow on his left monitor told him the worst. With no hope to dodge it, he did the only thing he could: firing the shoulder verniers and backpack at the same time, he drove the Kämpher into the ground, using the shoulders and collisional friction to slow himself.
As the beam passed in front, Manae jumped suddenly from the concealing cloud, using his afterburners for a short burst. Taking chase of the passing GP04, he fires three shots towards its exposed backside.OOC: Ahh, you're right. I misread and thought you said one bazooka, not both. And, Ellis. I was comparing the Kaempher's speed to my Gerbera's. The GP04, speeding away from Manae, watched as he fired the three shots.
Gunn's eyes flowed over the controls, and pulled the GP04 into a hard left, spinning the suit around to face manae, firing another beam rifle shot directly at his cockpit.

Gunn's GP04 suddenly darts upward, avoiding two out of three missiles, not wanting to waste time and ammo shooting all three, he just shoots the remaining one, directly between him and Manae's Kaempher, completely obscuring the Kaempher's view with the dust and aftermath of the explosion itself.
It only becomes evident a few moments later that while Manae's attention was on the exploding bazooka round, the Gerbera had darted underneath the smoke screen, only to close distance with the Kaempher, making a close pass on the Kaempher's right, to allow cover from the shield, but still allowing the GP04's beam rifle to lock on before he passed.
He let off a single shot just before the target reticule slid off of the Kaempher as he went passed. Even if Manae could manage to get off a round from the shotgun as he went passed him, the entire brunt of the blast would be taken by the shield, leaving the Gerbera relatively unharmed.
However, to avoid the incoming beam shot at close range would be an extremely difficult manuever due to the fully loaded Kaempher's sluggish acceleration.

Looks across the field at the Gundam Gerbera.A nice suit... I debated over bring the Gerbera Tetra myself; it's a little better equiped for combat. It's me 'n you, Ellis. Let's sum up our opponents: A fast fighter, armed with two machine cannons, a machine gun, two sabers, and a ramming sheild. An even faster Gundam, armed only with a sheild, long beam rifle, and two sabers itself. You've a bit of a grunt unit, with a few sabers, flares, a rifle and a sheild. Good manueverability, but your speed might not match up too well. I'm also a little slow compared to them, but I have enough weapons to really keep them on their toes... We just can't let the Gerbera get into long-range support position, or that rifle will eat us up. Pumps his shotgun and gets ready to go.<OOC: Okay... MAHQ says the Galbaldy ß has one saber stored in its waist armor. Now, I just finished watching through some Zeta Gundam, specifically episode 7, and the Galbaldy obviously has a beam saber stored in each shoulder (you can see the little thing stickin' out. Hatch flips up, saber is ejected into the waiting hand). If MAHQ is also to be believed, the Galbaldy should have 3 sabers. Also, what's the status on Newtype powers? I've no cares either way, though I'd prefer none if it makes any difference... But, I didn't set this up, so that'd be up to you.> <EDIT OOC: Never said a grunt unit was bad, it's just a general observation:P> OOC: No Newtype powers. Just stick to what you know your suit can do. Gunn's GP04 sat idly by, just a slight bit behind Libra's Gelgoog XS. His crosshairs landed on Manae's Kaempher. A slow, and sly grin came on his face as he flipped the switch, opening a burst transmission to Libra.Hit Ellis hard and fast. I'll keep Manae off you. And with that, the GP04 immediately shot to the far left, firing off a single shot at the Kaempher, stopping just after firing, and snapping back in the other direction, using heavy thrusting power to drive into a Zig-Zag style advance on Manae's Kaempher. Fast, and difficult to target, even with the Kaempher's shotgun.

A few moments later, a single Gundam unit appears on the scene. A fully equiped Gundam GP04, carrying a long beam rifle.

Cliffe grabs cover next to the window of his room. From what he could tell from voices, yelling, and footsteps, he was sharing the third floor with three. One covering the front, one in the back, and one in another room hiding out like he was. Cliffe sighed and used his elbow to break open the window. He'd picked the one damned room with a window that had been wedged shut. The sound of the glass breaking could be heard throughout the third floor, so he knew he had to work quickly.
Cliffe closed the door to his room and threw a dresser in front of it, along with a table. Chances are his enemies would shoot through first, but they couldn't hit what they couldn't see.
Cliffe pulled the rope from his pouch again, and leaned out the window. Above him was a small ledge with a gargoyle sitting upon it. He tossed the rope up and slid it through two of the feet. Stone should be enough to hold his weight.
He slid the rope through his harness, and started to slip backward out of the window, edging down. By his count, the sniper would have been aiming already by the time he was out, but he didn't plan on being out long. While out on the line, he pulled his pistol out of his holster and kicked away from the wall, sliding down.
As he swung back towards the building, he pulled up his .45, and shot out the window before he hit it, causing it to shatter inward before he went through the empty frame. He didn't want to be covered in glass, after all.
Landing, Cliffe yanked hard, causing the knot on the rope to fail, and let it slide off the gargoyle. He wadded it up again and slid it into the leg pouch, taking cover from the window, not wanting to get hit just after he got in. He grinned softly. There was never only one way out of a situation...

Cliffe, instantly upon hearing the shots behind him, slams into the nearest doorframe. He rips the door right off of it's hinges jumping through it into the room, hearing the snap of the bullets whizzing passed his back. When he lands he somersaults and turns his body so that he's facing the doorway, pulling up his M4 just as he hears C8's scream and the sniper rifle going off again. He was going to have to be weary of windows on the front of the building.

Rayne reached the ground level and decided to take the back exit. She walked cautiously for a while, going around Building 5 as she did so. She reached Building 3, where she had seen the sniper. She opened the side door and quietly entered, G36 at the ready. She looked for a moment at the fire escape plan and headed for the elevator. OOC: Who's in building 3 besides raz? OOC: I am. And it's only slowing down because I've killed someone. Retal and I took up most of it by fighting. Just wait till another firefight starts up and it'll suddenly grow a few pages. IC: Cliffe peeked out of the doorway, realizing the sniper was above him. If the sniper was on the roof, he could try sneaking up behind him. Probably a bad plan. He'd head downward, and clear the building of people trying to get to the sniper. By that time, the sniper would probably be moving down and looking for another building to take. That was when Cliffe would strike, while he was on the move.
Cliffe slid out into the hallway, aiming his rifle down the hall before him, moving towards the closest stairway. He hated elevators.

Upon hearing the sound of gunfire, Cliffe immediately tore into a room, taking cover and staying clear of windows. He knew the sniper wasn't shooting at him, but he didn't want to be picked up as a target...

But Retal wasn't letting himself die in vain. He was dead anyway, so he was taking someone else down with him. When Gunn went down his own hole, Retal pushed off one arm, rolling down into the hole with him and pulling out his full colt .45. He hurled his empty PPK at Gunn's prone form, then opened fire as he fell, tracking him in case he moved to avoid the first pistol so that he bullets would go through Gunn anyway, which since he was busy targeting another area, and thus would take him a second to get back to hitting Retal, should still happen... Two bullets actually struck him. One in the lower left side of his stomach, striking the kevlar laid into his tac-vest. The other was swung wide, and barely skimmed his left shoulder. Retal's aim had been horrible, thanks to firing the shots while falling, just after being shot several times by a high calliber rifle.
Cliffe pushed Retal aside, standing up slowly and pulling the bent bullet from the kevlar of his vest. From Retal's body, he grabs and tears off a length of cloth and ties it tight over the bullet wound before slapping another clip into the rifle, and another clip into the .45. The first kill was his.
Now it was time to start the hunt again...
