I'm looking for a challenger(s) in hand-to-hand combat. The setting is a rather large urban area. No powers or firearms are allowed. You are allowed three weapons, two knives (of any type, just as long as the blade is less than seven inches long), and one household item (such as a chain, baseball bat, wood plank, etc). I await any and all challengers.

Not my specialty, but what the hey. I could use some practice. Aside from a pair of 6 inch knives, I'd go with a nice long chain. Beyond that, anytime we're ready.

I'm choosing a chain as well. Oh, also, feel free to use items that you pick up as weapons, as long as they are within the above guidelines. Also, any who still want to join are welcomed.

Understood. So keeping items within the 'household'. Gotcha.
When all is set, I await the first move.

Ai is playing "finger fillet" with his 6" knife, a 7" dagger in a sheath on his belt, and a chain on the table in front of him.
I'm in.

Three chain-users? *NM pulls out a lock from his pocket and hooks it onto the end of his chain. He hooks his two knife holsters onto his belt. Then, he loosely wraps the chain around his left arm, grasping the end of the chain in his right hand.* Right, then. Let the fight commence!

(NM, could small hatchets be used later on?)
Ai stands, and walks out of the room, putting his knife away, weilding his chain.
"Let's play."

Right, then... *NM stands, facing Ai for a few moments, spinning his chain until is just a silver blur.* Let's see how well you wield that thing... *NM lashes his chain at Ai. Loosening his grip, the chain continues to extend at his target.*

Ai dodges with his whole upper body, and grabs a hold of NM's chain, wrapping it around his wrist. Ai swings his chain at NM's head, and loosens his grip on the chain on his wrist.

Heh... *Bats away Ai's chain with his left arm easily. There is a loud crash as metal-hits-metal.* It isn't weighted, and therefore, almost useless. *NM tugs hard on his own chain.*

Ai pulls back on his chain, bringing it back to him, and allows NM's chain to slide off of his hand. He swings his chain now at NM's wrapping tightly around the end, near the lockpick. Ai, using both hands, pulls backwards strongly.

Ai, using both hands, pulls backwards strongly. *NM simply lets his chain fall off his arm as Ai tugs.* A chain is not meant for sustained fighting... *NM flips out his first first knife and dashes towards the now-open Ai. *

Ai twirls his chain in a circular motion with one arm, pulling his dagger out with the other. He takes a wide swing at NM, and leaps at him with the dagger, aiming at his heart.
Hmph!

Good. *NM almost seems to melt under Ai. His chain whizzes over NM's head as his dagger cleaves empty air to the left of NM's cheek. NM is, in actuality, performing one of his signatures: A split-second slide onto his back to evade his opponent... and then counterattack. The move is very risky, and if it fails, it leaves himself open to an opponents attack. However, it rarely fails. NM thrusts his knife up at Ai's exposed breast.*

<As an observer, I need to say... Are you throwing the match here, NW? I mean, you said realistic duel. You'd be hard-pressed to find a person without the reaction time to avoid your attack and finish you off with an in-escapable attack.>
