Hmpf. If you're so bored, just stand and take it and stop complaining. Manae's targeting sensor flashes a solid lock on the immobile suit, and he takes a shot with his beam rifle before running towards the Regolith."I never said I was bored. I said I havn't got all day to just watch you keep running." Steel side-steps letting the beam pass his right and de-activates the Dom hover system.
He awaits the Charging GP02.

The Physalis continues to carge, suddenly darting off to its left--away from the mound of the diamond mine--while firing three more beams.

The Physalis continues to carge, suddenly darting off to its left--away from the mound of the diamond mine--while firing three more beams. Steel turns to stay facing head on to Manae, and side-steps again letting the beams flash by. Meanwhile, he begins charging his boosters."Come on. You're boring me, I have seen better pilots than you, not saying I ever beat them, but they are alot better and more exciting."

<OOC: Ack, thought I posted already Sorry for the wait.> Manae scowls, letting the Physalis come to a halt in the tall grasses. It takes two to tango, kid. Dance a little and you won't be bored.

<OOC: Ack, thought I posted already Sorry for the wait.> Manae scowls, letting the Physalis come to a halt in the tall grasses. It takes two to tango, kid. Dance a little and you won't be bored. But, because Manae had stopped, and Steel had been charging his boosters, it gave Steel plenty of time to quickly boost round behind Manae.
Steel then opened up on the immobile Gundam's rear fuel tanks with his own Vulcans while preping for a max acceleration boost.

Instead of stupidly standing there while the Regolith traversed the large gap between them to get to his backside, Manae fires his still-warm boosters and lays down an area blanket of beam fire from above Steel.

Steel simple boosts above the fire before coming down to land on the ground again."This is getting boring."

<OOC: How are you boosting above fire coming down at you?>

<OOC: How are you boosting above fire coming down at you?> OOC: If it is coming DOWN at me, it is using outdated info, and therefore, if I boost directly up, that means I can go above the fire.

<OOC: If you're trying to boost over blanket fire aimed down at you, it doesn't matter if the targeting is 'old.' You're boosting straight into more beams.>

<OOC: If you're trying to boost over blanket fire aimed down at you, it doesn't matter if the targeting is 'old.' You're boosting straight into more beams.> OOC: Listen, if you were far enough away to avoid my Vulcan fire, then I we are far enough so that the beams will be not coming down down. They cannot come directly down for starters, as you were never directly above me. Because you were able to avoid my Vulcan fire, that means the angle of those beams are going to be at 45 Degrees at most. If we are close enough for those to be greater than 45 Degrees, then my shots SHOULD of hit you.

<OOC: *facepalms* Re-read my last posts. We're not at some arms-reach away here. You can't expect me to just stand still staring at you while you travel a nice, big semi-circle to get around me like you said. If we were that close, the very notion of being able to dodge any type of fire is utterly rediculous.>

OOC: I know we are not at arms reach. So that means I can avoid your beams, if we were at arms reach, I wouldn't be able to avoid those beams.
This just proves to me that there is near to none decent MS RPers these days.

<OOC: I know what you mean. People thinking they can travel a few dozen meters without anything happening, especially getting to someone's backside... it's craziness.
So... would you like to change your 'coming to the backside' or 'going over beams from above' post, or have a mod look at the situation and work off of that?>
