<OOC: Well, charging towards you from where I was in the air, but I'd reach the ground before reaching you.> Manae uses a small burst of rockets to the side to avoid each beam, then takes a stab towards the Regolith's sheild, upper center. Steel though, walks backwards as Manae attempts to stab and swings round to the left by 90 degrees while walking backwards.
This would cause Manae's saber to miss, but also would allow Steel to open up on Manae.
So, while Steel was turning, he engaged the Jitte system on his Beam Rifle and swing is accross from right to left accross the left side of Manae.

<OOC: I can't tell if that's in front of me or back. Too many frames of reference without enough info on which way we're looking at it.>
The Physalis slows, turning to towards the Regolith as the beam rifle bounces harmlessly off the shoulder, though it heats up a little.
Jitte systems are meant for blocking a saber. That tiny beam is too far back in a rifle to actually attack with.
While saying, Manae thrusts into the Regolith, ripping his saber upwards towards the sheild-holding shoulder.

I have seen it in use by the GP01-FB. It would be long enough to slice into the booster pod but not slice it off. And it my last move is perfectly understandable. I said I walked backwards and turned 90 degrees so I would end up on your left.

<OOC: The Jitte is about as thick as a MS's hand. It'd melt a little metal, and then harmlessly bounce off. For that matter, the damn rifle's handles are too in the way to hit anything other than a telephone pole (or other beam saber) with. And I meant this: So, while Steel was turning, he engaged the Jitte system on his Beam Rifle and swing is accross from right to left accross the left side of Manae. I mean, what the hell? You're swinging it right to left across my left side... in the front? In the back? I think you meant "swinging towards his back" but I can't be sure.>

It is your LEFT As in LEFT LEFT LEFT! Not back, not front, but LEFT! The barrel of the rifle is about the same size as the Jitte, so it would slice through fine. It may not go deep, but it will go through it. Also, it is held hozintally to the ground. I didn't bother stating it as it probably would be obvious.

<OOC: Notice problems. That beam is about as wide as a MS's hand, as I said. It isn't going to penetrate jack shit, no matter how you swing it. You deformed part of my booster suite's plating. I'm going to go cry in a corner alone now. Now. You're on my left. I know this, you said this, and several times at that. Who's right to left? Mine? Yours? If it's yours, it's at my back. If it's mine, you're some type of fucking magician in two places at once. Either case, it doesn't matter. I made my move, what's happened happened. Are you going to keep going, or keep arguing about frivolous things?>

(As a side note, considering how the beam rifle was stored on it's rack at the time of the attack, the two suits would need to be at EXTREMELY close range.)

It had the length of the complete barrel from what I could see. And Ellis, did you even bother to read I had my Beam Rifle out before Manae closed in on me? IC: However, when Manae began thrusting, Steel was already moving backwards and had already turned round to his left by 90 Degrees. So Manae's back went flying across Steel's front.
Meanwhile, Steel readied his Beam Rifle to fire and locked onto Manae's Gundam.

<OOC: Re-watch it. I'm not lying to you here, really I'm not.
And, yes, Ellis, he had it out already. Mine is put away, not his.>
Manae plants hard as the Regolith scrapes off his left shoulder. Warnings flaring about strain on the legs, he boosts straight for Steel with a little extra umph as his top tank sections jetison. His saber again flashes towards the vulnerable under-shoulder while he tries to ram into the Regolith.

<OOC: Re-watch it. I'm not lying to you here, really I'm not. And, yes, Ellis, he had it out already. Mine is put away, not his. In anycase, despite that being un-feasable unless you were already boosting backwards when you started your rifle swing...> As the Regolith stops to aim, Manae fires his rockets reversely to slow enough to make a hard pivot straight into Steel, attempting the same thing he just had. But, Steel had never stopped moving. ANd so, Steel simply pumped off beam after beam at manae who would be now turning and attempting to stab the left shoulder of Steel's suit.

<OOC: If that's the case, which did you do? Kill yourself with the pure G-forces, or take a nice arcing turn? Option 1, you're unconcious. Option 2, I'm on top of you and now going faster. And don't argue that you stopped like I did to do a little pivot. If that's the case, you've a saber through yourself, or need to do some major explaining on how you avoided it.>

It only takes a second to lock onto something, and then another second or two to fire. The saber would go through my left shoulder, but it would allow me to blast your Gundam to peices. I just left the losing shoulder part because I wasn't sure if you were gonna be countering my attack in a way which would allow me to save my shoulder. Understand now?

<OOC: Well, I do understand something I mis-read last post, which means I do need to change mine. I read that you boosted back, not just stepped back...
Let me go back and change that, we'll go from there. And for the record, I'm attacking your gun-arm. If you let me take that shoulder, you can't exactly be shooting me with it.>

While saying, Manae thrusts into the Regolith, ripping his saber upwards towards the sheild-holding shoulder. OOC: Sorry to stop this again, but you never stated in even your re-made move that you were aiming for my Beam Rifle holding shoulder, and according to this quote, you are going for the one which is holding the shield. You didn't say you targetted my beam rifle shoulder, so you must be still attacking the Shield shoulder.
